Role to oversee IAG Cargo’s continued investment in the region
IAG Cargo, the single business of British Airways World Cargo and lberia Cargo, has announced the appointment of Pravin Singh as Commercial Manager, South Asia.
ln this role, Pravin will be responsible for overseeing the commercial delivery of IAG Cargo’s operation across South Asia, a highly strategic market for the company. Pravin has been tasked with ensuring the company capitalises on the region’s growth prospects and delivers against ambitious commercial targets.
To fully exploit the growth potential available in South Asia, IAG Cargo will be commencing on-line services to and from Colombo, Sri Lanka from summer 2013, taking the total number of on-line stations in the region to eight while offering 60 weekly passenger and freighter flights.
This investment will help provide essential trade links between South Asia and the rest of the world and underlines IAG Cargo’s commitment to the region. As part of his role, Pravin will help grow the South
Asian network and take advantage of resulting commercial opportunities.
Pravin Singh takes on this role having previously served as regional cargo manager for the Middle East, Pakistan and Bangladesh where he oversaw the commercial activities in these regions. Prior to that, Pravin has held responsibilities as a key account manager and commercial manager for the Middle East and Africa region, bringing with him strong customer service and commercial expertise.

Pravin has worked in his new position since October 1,2012 and is based in lndia, overseeing South Asia which includes lndia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
