Hapag Lloyd ups rate to US, Canada

Hapag-Lloyd has decided to implement the following General Rate Increase (GRI) for all dry, reefer, flat rack and open-top containers from subcontinent to all USA and Canada destinations, to become effective from 1 May 2013.

The hike is as follows

Scope: Subcontinent to all USA and Canada destinations

20’ standard container           US$ 320/20’

40’ standard container   (40’x8’6”)   US$ 400/40’

40’ high cube container    (40’x9’6”)   US$ 450/40’HC

45’ container                                                  US$ 506/45’

Subcontinent is defined as being the countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
