Emirates plane engine catches fire in Boston

An engine on an Emirates flight from Dubai caught fire after landing at Logan International Airport in Boston last week, a report said. The Boeing 777-300 with 358 people on board had flames coming from the No. 1 engine after landing. The small fire was put out within six minutes; officials were quoted as saying in the WCVB Boston website. There were no reports of any injuries and the plane was towed to the gate, where all passengers disembarked, the report said. Passengers told reporters that they smelt smoke and fuel but otherwise had no idea that there was a fire, the report said.
