EFL initiates operations in Maldives strengthening presence

Leading Freight and Logistics solutions provider, Expo Freight (EFL) initiated their Maldivian operation with the opening of their new office in the Maldives recently. Sri Lanka’s premier and largest freight forwarder EFL, a subsidiary of Expolanka Holdings PLC embarked on this project to extend their global foot print and strengthen their presence in the Indian Sub-Continent. “With the increasing trade in the Indian Sub-Continent, this office enables us to cover an important and growing import market in the region,” said Expolanka Holdings PLC Group Chief Operating Officer – Freight Cluster Shanmugam Senthilnathan. Launched 30 years ago, EFL commands a global imprint today with a 1500 plus staff strength across 17 countries and 50 cities and a strong presence in the Indian Sub-Continent. EFL is a prominent IATA agent in Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan and has representation in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the USA.
