Congestion surcharge slapped on Chennai

CMA CGM said due to ongoing problems in Chennai port, it was compelled to implement a Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS) for all Import & Export containers, Ex – Chennai.

The US$ 85 per TEU surcharge came into effect from 1 September.
