Sri Lanka Navy, in accordance with naval traditions, welcomed a Bangladesh Coast Guard ship and an Indonesian Naval ship arrived in Sri Lankan ports.
Bangladesh Coast Guard Ship Tajuddin arrived at the Port of Trincomalee on a goodwill visit on Friday.
Commanding Officer of CGS Tajuddin, Captain Mohammad Hasan Tarikue called on the Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Travis Sinniah at the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters and engaged in a cordial discussion. During the stay crew of the Bangladesh Coast Guard Ship is scheduled to participate in an array of programs organised by the Sri Lanka Navy in view of strengthening the camaraderie between the two countries. The ship is due to leave Sri Lanka on 4 February.
The Indonesian Naval Ship, Kri Sultan Iskandar Muda – 367 arrived at the Port of Colombo for refilling and a replenishment visit on Thursday (2).
Upon its arrival, the Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander Rio Henrymuko Yumm paid a courtesy call on the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle at the Western Naval Command Headquarters and held cordial discussions.The Indonesian ship departed from Sri Lanka on Sunday.
