APL and APL Logistics repeat wins at coveted Asia freight awards

Singapore-based NOL Group has won accolades for excellence in Shipping and Logistics at the 26th Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs) in Shanghai.  

For a second consecutive year, NOL’s two principal businesses, APL and APL Logistics, have been named the Best Shipping Line – Transpacific and Best Logistics Service Provider – Sea Freight respectively.

The AFSCAs are one of the longest-running awards tributes in the Asian transportation and logistics management sector.  Winners are decided by polling mainly Asian users of freight and logistics services.

APL and APL Logistics have been regular features at the AFSCAs.  Both received four nominations this year.  APL was in the shortlist for Best Shipping Line in the Global, Transpacific, Asia-Europe and Intra-Asia categories.  APL Logistics was nominated for Best 3PL as well as Best Logistics Service Provider in three different categories – Air Freight, Sea Freight and Project Cargo.
