Walkers Colombo Shipyard Ltd. carried out hard scraping, power buffering and painting of the hull of Hiru 3, a 23.5 m long fishing vessel in a record time of seven days. Hiru 3, a long liner fishing vessel owned by Horizon Harvest Ltd., was docked at the Walkers Colombo Shipyard in Modara on 29 October and undocked on 4 November.
Horizon Harvest, an associate company of Seaspire International Ltd. of Singapore, is a BOI registered company engaged in the seafood trade in Sri Lanka and owns and operates nine long liner fishing vessels. Walkers Colombo Shipyard carried out repairs on Hiru 6 previously.
