Sri Lanka’s largest private airline FitsAir welcomed its first Airbus 320 to be inducted to its fleet. The aircraft will be converted to a freighter to support the local exporters and boost shipment volumes. A second Airbus 320 is expected to join in mid-April.
“We are proud that our Airbus fleet will be manned by an all Sri Lankan, experienced flight crew,” the Company said.
Since 1997, FitsAir has provided an unparalleled travel experience amongst domestic passenger operations in Sri Lanka. FitsAir is Sri Lanka’s first and only private airline to be licensed for International Cargo Operations by the Civil Aviation Authority Sri Lanka (CAASL).
