Continuing to build on its position as a visionary and an innovator in the global middleware field, WSO2 will sponsor the internationally acclaimed Forrester Enterprise Architecture Forum 2011 with an address by WSO2 co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Paul Fremantle.

The EA Forum takes place on 17 and 18 February, 2011 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, and focuses on helping IT professionals achieve an integrated understanding of business, information, and technology architecture. Attendees can explore four distinct areas: connecting business process and architecture, creating business-driven technology strategies, key technology trends to watch in 2011, and real world best practices from 2010 EA Award Winners.

Presenting a session entitled “Ultra-scale E-commerce Transaction Services with Lean Middleware,” Fremantle will use real-world scenarios to exemplify how lean, open source middleware handles over half a billion daily transactions for one of the world’s highest volume e-commerce web APIs.  Fremantle will also spotlight emerging trends of simpler, performance-driven middleware capable of expanding or shrinking to precisely match unique business requirements.  He will explore the role modular open-source software which is destined to play in the future of cloud platforms.

In addition to Fremantle’s presentation, as Gold sponsors of the Forrester Research event, WSO2 will have a booth featuring demonstrations of its lean open source middleware and how it enables companies to seamlessly deploy applications and Web services on premise or in the cloud.

Realising a vision to reinvent technology to meet the business requirements of the modern world, WSO2 delivers the only complete open source enterprise SOA middleware stack purpose-built as an integrated platform to support today’s heterogeneous enterprise environments — internally and in the cloud.
