Talk of the town, Prima Kottumee branded trucks storm Colombo

Prima Kottumee is a brand that represents the vibrancy and the energy of youth. To be in-sync with the upcoming season of cricket, Prima Kottumee has produced a ‘Papare’ song, known as the ‘Hot & Spicy’ Cricket Fever Song, which at present has gained immense popularity.

Prima Kottumee cricket song which encapsulates the energy of youth was performed by popular artists, Bathiya and Santhush, who represent the energy of the youth of the nation. This song was created to captivate audiences during the World Cup season while motivating the cricket fans to cheer on the Sri Lanka team.

On 15 February, Prima Kottumee in collaboration with Ran FM staged an extravaganza near Tyronne Fernando Stadium in Moratuwa to launch this CD. Fifteen container trucks, 40 feet long, erected several billboards, one after the other giving the illusion of one 600 foot long billboard, which was a spectacular sight.

Seven container trucks and three Prima propaganda vehicles which travelled around the island arrived at this location at 3 p.m. to create excitement prior to the event, which was the talk of the town.

The ‘Hot & Spicy’ Cricket Fever Song performed by Bathiya & Santhush was launched at this event. The CD contains six other fast paced songs in addition to the Cricket Fever Song.

The Senior Business Manager and Senior Marketing Manager of Ceylon Agro Industries, Sajith Gunaratne present at this occasion went on to describe the objective of this launch which was to highlight the contribution by Prima Kottumee towards Sri Lanka cricket.

Tan Beng Chuan, Group General Manager of Prima Group Sri Lanka along with Gunaratne presented the Cricket Fever Song CD to Romesh Kaluwitharana, Percy, Lahiru Perera and Tehan Perera.

During the event, the gathered crowd was given the opportunity to sample the newest addition to the Prima Kottumee range which was ‘Hot & Spicy’ Cricket Fun Noodles, in addition to being entertained by the live telecast of the ‘Hot & Spicy’ Papare’ song. Cricket fans will be able to watch the World Cup while enjoying ‘Hot & Spicy’ Cricket Fun Noodles.

Those present at the event left with colourful memories of the ‘Hot & Spicy’ Cricket Fever Song and the fervent hope that Sri Lanka will win the World Cup this year.
