Sri Lanka-Benelux Business Council launches website

The Sri Lanka-Benelux Business Council launched its website - www.benelux.lk - on Wednesday evening, during the council’s members networking evening. The website was launched by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Sri Lanka Louis W.M. Piet in the presence of Sri Lanka-Benelux Council President Jayantha Panabokke. Panabokke speaking during the occasion said that the council’s website will help further develop its interaction with the members and make it more convenient to disseminate information to the relevant stakeholders. The council already publishes a news letter for the benefit of its members. The networking event and the website launch took place at the 80 club Colombo. The Sri Lanka-Benelux Business Council comprises local partnerships, companies and corporations engaged in trade, tourism or joint ventures with the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. It was formed with the primary objectives of promoting tourism and trade between Sri Lanka and the Benelux countries.
