Prudential Shipping Lines awarded ISO 9001:2008

Prudential Shipping Lines (Pte) Ltd., a leading Sri Lankan company in the maritime sector, has reached its next level of quality assurance with the awarding of ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Prudential Shipping is one of the most competitive and dynamic agency houses operating in all major ports in Sri Lanka, providing clients a vast array of high quality marine related services.

At the time of awarding the certificate N. Sriram, Country Manager of SGS Lanka, stated: “It is noteworthy, as this has been a renewal of certification, which goes on to demonstrate the consistency in your quality system and delivery.”

Previously operating with only the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard, PSL has now upgraded their service quality level to a whole novel tier. This standard is awarded to a company with a quality management system which enables them to consistently provide services that meet customer and applicable statutory/regulatory requirements while aiming to improve customer satisfaction through the effective application of the processes.
