People’s Merchant Finance relocates to its own premises

People’s Merchant Finance Co. (formerly Silvereen Finance Co.), a fully-owned subsidiary of People’s Merchant Bank (an associate company of People’s Bank), with a history over 25 years of  catering to a wide cross section of the society in its financial needs, relocated on 20 January to No. 145, Kotugodella Veediya, Kandy, with the purpose of serving the community better. 

The newly-furbished business premises was declared opened by the Group Managing Director/CEO Anura Wickremasinghe, amidst a distinguished gathering of clients, well-wishers and employees.

The company offers a wide range of products, such as leasing, hire purchase, fixed deposits and intends launching into microfinance and pawning, in addition to opening a few more branches at strategic locations in the near future.

People’s Merchant Finance Co. is registered with the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Finance Companies Act No. 78 of 1988.
