People’s Bank Isusru Udana Account with Rs.2,000 for every child born on 2600 Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi

 People’s Bank is making arrangements to open Isusru Udana Accounts worth of  Rs.2,000/- for 1000 babies will be born in this country on Vesak Full Moon Poya Day on which 2600 Sambuddhatwa Jayanthi falls (From 12.01 am to 12.00 midnight of 17th may 2011) irrespective of the distinctions of race or religion.

Arrangements have been made to open these accounts by producing Birth Certificate of the child to any People’s Bank Branch or Service Center in the island.

This noble exercise will take place in conjunction with Sri Dalada Maligawa and People’s Bank, is coordinated by Ven. Sansungama Gnanarathana Thero – Executive Director of Human Expectations Development Fund, Sri Sambuddharaja Viharaya, Walgama, Handessa.
