Night Food Market on 15 Feb at Green Path

The Sri Lanka Food Processors Association is planning to conduct a Night Food Market on the 15 February 2011 at the Vihara Maha Devi Park (Green Path – Maldekma) Colombo from 4.00 p.m. to 12.00 Mid Night providing the stage for the manufacturers of all reputed brands of over fifty to offer their products and services at discounted prices to the consumers in order to support the efforts of the Government of bringing down the ever rising cost of living.

 Arrangements are also been made to sell vegetables and coconuts at concessionary prices at the venue. 

 The Sri Lanka Food Processors Association is also planning to arrange events of this nature at various locations on continuous basis in the near future.

The Association is the foremost representative body for the food processing sector in the country and are responsible to develop a comparatively advantageous environment for the Food Processing Industry. The Association also endeavours to benchmark best practices and to motivate the local industry to achieve Global Standards. 

In the light of the remarkable 14 percent annual growth in the Sri Lanka Food Industry, the SLFPA is continuously aiming to provide the membership the opportunities to develop their business and gain profits through active participation in national level activity while interacting direct with the consumers.
