Kolkata: The Shipping Corporation of India is to shortly launch a new service between the Indian sub-continent and East Africa, according to company source.
The service, to be called ISEAFR, will commence from Colombo on November 27.
The port rotation will be Colombo-Dar Es Salaam- Mombasa-Colombo. There will be three voyages every month with a frequency every10 days, and the service will be operated with three vessels, each of 1,200-TEU capacity, the sources added.
