NDB Bank and Sampath Bank in ATM network partnership

NDB Bank, one of Sri Lanka’s fastest growing banks, join hands with the Nation’s Legendary Banking Services provider, Sampath Bank to form an enhanced ATM network spread across the island.

This will give NDB Bank Customers access to 220 ATMs of Sampath Bank spread across the island, providing them with access to their savings and current accounts with more ease.

With this addition Sampath Bank’s clients will be able to access the NDB Bank’s state-of-the-art touch screen ATM network, thereby increasing the Sampath Bank ATM network to 916.

On the other hand, NDB Bank’s total ATM network base has now increased to 259; thus enabling their customers to enjoy greater convenience.

In addition to the ATM network, NDB Bank’s customers can also access the Banks services through its trilingual website, internet banking and 24 hour call centre.  

This new affiliation will provide customers of both banks 24 hour access to their bank accounts via the wide spread network  for quick banking transactions and on-line banking facilities on any day of the year making life easier and befitting today’s busy lifestyles.

Sampath Bank boasts of having introduced the ATM concept to Sri Lanka in 1987 revolutionising the industry and making the impossible a reality, as well as pioneering the ATM Network Sharing concept substantiating a huge saving in terms of foreign exchange in the form of fees paid to foreign financial institutions for ATM usage.

The Bank’s customers have access to a larger ATM network with 916 ATMs with own and through alliances with other banking partners such as BoC, NSB, PABC, Union Bank, DFCC and HDFC, while NDB is the latest addition to the partnership. Sampath Bank will continue to expand through future partnerships with other financial institutions providing better conveniences to their customers.
