MBSL Insurance goes online with top solutions from Informatics International

MBSL Insurance Company Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of the Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka, recently went online to serve its customers with the latest and state of the art technology.

“MBSL Insurance signed up a contract with Informatics International Ltd (IIL) for its comprehensive State-of-the-Art end to end General Insurance System “Info-Ins” to deliver high standard in the level of service and the product/service range to its customers and towards ultimate goal of achieving excellence in the Insurance Industry.” MBSL Insurance Managing Director Sydney Gajanayake said.

Informatics International Director Hasith Wickramasinghe said that the flagship insurance solution, developed by IIL, caters to all aspects of general insurance. Info-Ins is a fully integrated web based system encompassing the full policy lifecycle. The customer centric, high performance, scalable and open interfaces for integration and the dynamic product builder allowing extensive parameterisation and process re-engineering are just some of the noteworthy features of the solution.”

IIL is the software and services arm of the Informatics Group of Companies that have been around since 1983. IIL has built a global reputation for its quality Telecom Software Product suite “AvaBill” which has been exported to more than 15 countries. They also produce export quality software systems for Border Management Organisations.
