AFP - Sri Lanka’s cricket selectors on Wednesday left out fast bowler Lasith Malinga for next week’s opening Test against the West Indies in Galle.
Malinga, who played in Sri Lanka’s last Test against India at home in August, has taken 101 wickets in 30 Tests.
The hosts named three spinners -- Ajantha Mendis, Suraj Randiv, and Rangana Herath -- in a 16-man squad for the first Test starting on November 15.

The West Indies will play three Tests, five one-day internationals and a Twenty20 match on the tour.
