Kiddies and Toys open new baby and mother care showroom

Sole agents for Farlin in Sri Lanka, Kiddies & Toys recently opened its newest showroom, Kiddies Plus, at No. 9, Duplication Road, adjoining Laurie’s Road.

The newest addition to the network of Kiddies & Toys showrooms numbering over 6, Kiddies Plus showroom stands out for its outstanding range of premium baby and mother care products and its innovative range of concept baby rooms.

“ The showroom is organised into six sections to make shopping the customers easier,” says  Nabhan Akeel, Managing Director of Kiddies & Toys International  Ltd., “categorised under infant clothing, maternity, baby, Kids Clothing,  toys and concept baby rooms. “ Kids clothing offers a superb array of clothes for infants, active toddlers and play group kids. From socks to denims, the range available is wide.”  He adds that an equally wide range of maternity clothing including nightwear is available at the store for would-be-mothers.

All the well known baby and mother care brands – from Farlin to Mothercare, Avent, Pigeon etc. are available in a comprehensive range of products, he adds. Kiddies Plus also offers all baby accessories such as diapers, baby toiletries, furniture, baby cots, strollers etc, making it easier to buy everything needed for baby at one place.  

Kiddies Plus also contains one of the biggest selection of toys, he says – “ Branded toys from LEGO to Fisher Price , Hotwheels, Barbie, Toy Kraft, Shinsei, Creatives is available including a beautifully designed play area where kids can play while the parents shop. Literally he adds that there are over 1000 varieties of toys that parents can select for their kids.

One of the best features at Kiddies Plus is a wide selection of concept baby rooms, new to Sri Lanka but already hugely popular here – “ Entire baby rooms including the cot, the bedding, wallpaper, cupboards, cribs, changing table  etc. are available — the units are on display at the showroom and can be purchased as a whole set.”

The showroom was opened recently by well known Sri Lankan cricketer Dilshan Tillekaratne and his wife Manjula Thilini. The guest of honour was Dr. Vijith Vidyavibsuhana and Mrs. Vidyavibushana. Kiddies Plus contains three floors of shopping space, close to 2,500 sq. ft. and is open on all seven days of the week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Until 31 March, shoppers can enjoy a fascinating discount schemes on products purchased.
