Informatics listed as partner on Intl. Civil Aviation Organisation site

Informatics has been listed as a partner on International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) website, the UN specialised agency mandated to develop travel document standards.

These standards have been adapted when developing InfoBorder, the Border Control Software solution. This solution is implemented in several countries including the Department of Immigration and Emigration of Sri Lanka. Informatics is the only Sri Lankan Company to be listed under ICAO.

InfoBorder 3.1 is the latest version with Oracle 11g, to control ports of entry/exit. InfoBorder is comprehensive, flexible and user-oriented, tested software which caters to multiple ports of entry/exit.

It is specially designed for rapid customisation and deployment that results in a robust and a full-fledged end to end product. It consists of border control, eVisa and ePermits processing, travel document, citizenship administration, office automation, controversial/black list and a tightly integrated documents management system and work flow system.

The Border Control System is developed by Informatics International Limited (IIL) with ISO 9001: 2000 and SEI CMMI – Level 3 accreditation, is the software and services arm of the Informatics Group of Companies that have been around since 1983.

IIL has built a global reputation for its quality telecom software product suite ‘AvaBill,’ which has been exported to more than 15 countries. IIL also has produced a comprehensive state-of-the-art general insurance system that has being used by local and overseas insurance companies.

Informatics also operates the largest private technology university in Sri Lanka offering both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from University of Westminster and Keele University, both of UK.
