In the latest Schedule Reliability Insight survey undertaken by Drewry Shipping consultants, HMM services were reported to achieve a comparatively high success rate in ‘on-time’ vessel arrivals for Q2 2010.
With the exception of regional and niche carriers, HMM ranked 2nd out of the major deep-sea carriers with a deviation of less than a day, half a day below the average for the market. HMM’s Europe-Asia products, both AEX and SCX services have achieved 85% on-time arrivals in Q2 2010, well above the 54% average for the Europe-Asia trade lanes.
With regards to our Transatlantic services, both our APX and ATS services are above the trade average with 88% and 92% on time arrivals respectively.
The latest survey results further demonstrate the consistent reliability of HMM services which rank 2nd of the deep-sea carriers over the last 10 surveys made by Drewry. 1,792 vessels from 51 carriers over the 3 month period of April to June 2010 with a vessel considered to be ‘on-time’ if it arrived at port on the scheduled day of arrival or the day before.
