HMM’s California United Terminals moves to Los Angeles

California United Terminals, a subsidiary of Hyundai Merchant Marine, will move from its current terminal at the Port of Long Beach to the neighbouring Port of Los Angeles, Pier 405/406. CUT will sublease a 91 acre portion of APMT’s Pier 400 property. No delays to customers are expected with the relocation.

Furthermore, benefits will include: 1,250 ft. dedicated berth, dedicated cranes, 91 acres of pure container yard space, on-dock rail service and dedicated in/out gates

HMM has two Trans-Pacific services currently calling at Long Beach.

The last vessel for the Pacific Southwest (PSW) will depart Long Beach in mid-November and arrive for the first Los Angeles call in early December. While the Pacific China Express (PCX) will have the last vessel depart Long Beach in mid-December and arrive the latter part of the month at Pier 400.
