Lindsey Garbenis, visiting Associate Director International Admissions of Hawai’i Pacific University (www.hpu.edu) was recently introduced to Mike Chappell, Principal of Colombo International School.

The meeting was facilitated by Scholarships for USA (Pvt) Ltd. (www.scholarshipsforusa.com) local representative for HPU committed to making US higher education increasingly accessible to the largest ever segment of Lankan youth.

This is the maiden visit by a representative of HPU to Sri Lanka and HPU is willing to assist the right candidates with excellent financial aid, credit transfers based on not only London A/Ls but Lankan A/Ls too coupled with year round part-time and paid internship opportunities during summer breaks.  For those parents concerned with long and harsh winters in US Midwest, HPU offers very comfortable (and similar) weather.

According to a recent US News and World Report HPU is one of ‘America’s Best Colleges’ and highlights its diversity in its ‘Most International Students’ category. CIS admires the work that Scholarships for USA does to get its students placed at US schools in the quickest time with maximum financial aid.
