Hapag-Lloyd postpones North America to East Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East GRI

Hapag-Lloyd said last week it has reached a decision to postpone the 1 October 2010 North America to East Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East GRI until 1 November 2010.

With effect from 1 November 2010 Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for cargo from North America to East Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East.

East Asia comprises Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Macao, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, and the Russian Pacific Ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny.

Middle East comprises Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, and the Red Sea Ports of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
