The CSD Institute Australia, providers of the world’s most sought after designations by employers, will conduct its first South Asia event in Colombo on 19 and 20 February. The second session will be held on 26 and 27 February.

The aim of providing global designations is to help recruiters and managers ensure candidates have the necessary minimum high-value soft skills not acquired through formal education.

The designations are intended to lower the barrier for prospective immigrants from gaining employment due to the current gap in these skills, according to recruitment surveys in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.

CSD Institute Australia will conduct its fundamental communications program leading to the Certified Business Communicator TM designation and the right to use the post-nominal CBCTM in the South Asia launch in Colombo.  The advanced programmes are scheduled to be held later this year.

The main advantage for candidates is the ability to earn a global designation, efficiently, which covers core skills that have shown to lead to faster career progression.

The content within the CBC TM programme is held in the highest regard by new migrants around the world to countries with a skilled migration programme. The certification help recruiters feel comfortable that the applicants can confidently be put before any employer.

The designations are a mark of great commitment and a sign to any potential employer of your ability to fit in to the overall business.  The programme content has been designed using global input from recruiters, CEOs and multidisciplinary research into sound strategies.

As such the content would help designation holders go a long way in achieving both personal and professional success in any field.  The programme will provide participants the highest probability of advancing their careers.

While many new migrants and executives have benefited from participating in previous sessions, CSD Institute Australia is excited at the prospect of expanding across South Asia.  Participant transcripts and official certificates will be issued directly from Australia.

Applicants who secure a scholarship will have their tuition waived and be liable only for the administration charge and taxes of $A 200 (Rs. 22,000). This includes membership for the first year.

Other than their resume, all applicants will need to pass the CSD Institute interview in order to be considered for admission.

The sessions will be held at a five-star hotel in Colombo, with the venue being notified to successful candidates.
