Emirates running out of parking space!

Emirates would like to expand its fleet, but have run out of parking space.

In June this year, Tim Clarke, president, Emirates, increased the AirbusA380 order from 90 to 120, and has been quoted as having stated he would like to place more orders, but for the space constraint.

Clarke said the airline is growing at an annual rate of 20%, which levels are expected to remain consistent over the next five years, according to a report in travel Blackboard.

If Emirates goes through with the order, it would further strengthen its presence in Europe, a fact that already has US and European carriers concerned that this would divert traffic from their hub.
