Editor in Chief of Elle India visits the Avirate store

Editor in Chief, Elle India Nonita Kalra, was in Sri Lanka recently at the invitation of the British Council as part of their Young Fashion Entrepreneur programme. During her visit, Kalra visited the Avirate store and met Ashraf Sattar (Chairman), Asim Younoos (COO) and Sarinda de Silva (Communications Manager).

She was impressed with the store and commented “Avirate is the only store in Sri Lanka that can be compared with an International prêt store. I was very impressed with the wearability of the dresses in particular. I am happy to note that women in Sri Lanka won’t have the problem of what to wear.”
