DIMO to take care of Mercedes-Benz Axor Fleet

DIESEL & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) entered into a MOU with GoldStar Transport Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., to take care of the newly purchased Mercedes-Benz Axor Prime Movers.

The annual maintenance contract was signed between CEO of DIMO Ranjith Pandithage and Goldstar Transport Ltd.’s Simon Day. Ravi Karunanayake is the Chairman of GoldStar Transport Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

Goldstar Transport Lanka Limited is a joint venture between Goldstar Transport Ltd. and Global Transportation & Logistics (Pvt) Ltd. Goldstar Lanka is committed to becoming the leading supplier in the provision of container transport and Logistics services within Sri Lanka.

Goldstar will provide its superior logistics solutions via a quality fleet of Mercedes-Benz prime movers – the Axor series. It chose Mercedes-Benz Axor over other commercial vehicles due to their proven reliability, minimum maintenance costs and performance. The Mercedes-Benz Axor is a truck designed to fill the gap between the premium Actros trucks and the mostly rigid Atego trucks and is targeted at fleet customers.
