A quick business lunch turned out of delectable seafood comes to you courtesy of Lagoon with its business lunch selection. Held on weekdays from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m., patrons will find that Lagoon’s high standards are upheld in its business lunch options in accordance with its reputation as Sri Lanka’s number one seafood restaurant.

Lagoon’s three business lunch menus offer a range of exceptional seafood dishes. For Rs. 1,500 (plus taxes), Menu 1 gives you a choice between seafood bisque and assorted sushi rolls platter as a starter. The main course includes crumb fried calamari rings with caper mayonnaise, grilled medallion of modha with lemon butter, wok fried shrimps with chilli garlic, assorted vegetables and mushroom risotto. Dessert options include assorted fresh fruit platter or butterscotch pudding with banana caramel sauce.

At Rs. 1,900 (plus taxes), Menu 2 includes tomato soup with prawn dumplings or mini baked crab served with green leaves salad as starters. The main course comprises grilled prawn salsa verdei, darne of seer vindaloo, stir fried mussels in Thai curry sauce, paprika potato and wok fried kangkung. Dessert options include assorted fresh fruit platter or knicker bocker glory.

Menu 3, priced at Rs. 2,500 (plus taxes) starts off with a choice between Thai tom yam kum or prawn and vegetable spring rolls with Thai sweet chilli sauce as appetizers. The main course consists of pan fried fillet of modha with lemon butter, king prawns in thai red curry sauce, lagoon baked crab with a touch of chilli, grilled shoe lobster with lemon butter, trio of mushroom risotto and wok fried kangkung with assorted fresh fruit platter as dessert.
