Etihad Guest, the award-winning loyalty programme of Etihad Airways, has announced a new partnership with Korea’s leading airline, Asiana Airlines.
The loyalty tie-up follows the codeshare agreement signed between the two airlines in October this year, and follows Etihad’s own entry into the South Korea market with flights to Seoul which commenced earlier this month.
The new partnership allows Etihad Guest members to earn and redeem Etihad Guest Miles each time they fly with Asiana Airlines. Members of Asiana’s loyalty programme, Asiana Club Programme, will also be able to earn and redeem miles when traveling on Etihad Airways.
“This new partnership opens up more opportunities for Etihad Guest members to earn and redeem miles, with a new range of destinations to choose from,” stated Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer.
With its modern fleet of 75 aircraft, Asiana serves 85 cities in 21 countries and 12 destinations within Korea. The airline also operates the largest network between mainland China and the rest of the world.
