Airtel Lanka recently entered into a partnership with Kingwood College, Kandy whereby Airtel would sponsor the schools’ Rugby team for a period of two years. Kingswood College created history by introducing rugby to Sri Lanka in 1891 under the guidance of the school’s founder L. E. Blaze.
In 1906, the first ever match between two schools were played between Kingswood College and Trinity College. The match ended in a draw. The pictures show scenes from an event held to mark Airtel’s sponsorship of the school
