A sweeter Easter at Cinnamon Lakeside

It is an eventful month at Goodies, the delicatessen at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. Tucked away in the basement of the hotel just beyond the shopping arcade, it is a well kept secret.

Those in the know are familiar with the delightful treats the pastry chefs turn out on a daily basis, from as far back as the hotel’s Trans Asia and Ramada days. This month, following a successful Avurudu promotion at Goodies, the Chefs will present a selection of Easter treats that promise to impress.

Baskets full of the Goodies range of Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies, Easter muffins and Easter cookies make a most looked-forward-to prize at Easter games. A pretty party idea would be to decorate baskets with ribbon and attractive name tags to add a personalised touch to your gifts. After a challenging Easter egg hunt, you could reward the children with edible pastel coloured Easter eggs from Goodies.

What sets the Goodies treats apart is that the Chefs do not compromise on the quality of the ingredients. For instance, the Easter chocolate bunnies are made from fine Swiss Carma chocolate, which is a high quality, gourmet chocolate created in 1931 by Carl Maentler.
