Dusit Thani Sri Lanka, Beachfront Balapitiya recently hosted the ‘Australia Showcase 2016’ for the crème de la crème of Sri Lankan-Australian society in Melbourne to meet the immense interest received from both expats and locals alike in Australia.
The simple early-evening event, which received 80 attendees, was hosted exclusively for The Beachfront apartment owners as well as interested parties. A few famous names in attendance at the event were Kili Mahendran of the Capital Maharaja Organisation, Sri Lankan Architect and Building Design Guru Athula Amarasekera, as well as several local Sri Lankan and residential house-hold names.
The Beachfront – sold as high-rise investment apartments - offer 485 designer fitted, beach and ocean-view apartments as one, two and three bedrooms, priced from just $ 244,000 (plus taxes). Investors receive a freehold title, guaranteed returns of 6% net for five years per annum, paid quarterly in US dollars, the potential of approximately 30% in capital gains in two years and no ongoing costs. Additionally, apartment owners can avail of a 21-day free stay per annum.
“With the unique investment and lifestyle opportunity offered by The Beachfront – we’ve come across a large amount of interest from the expatriate market and the success of this event goes to show how far-reaching the Dusit International brand name is and the immense equity it carries,” commented Indola Group Director Paul Dwyer.
“The ‘Investment Apartment’ business model is nothing new to most Australians, thus it was obvious to our attendees that The Beachfront is both a fitting financial and lifestyle investment opportunity given the returns, capital gains, as well as the 21-day free stay. It was a great event met with a lot of support and we’re thankful for the global support,” concluded Indola Group Director Ajit Wijesinghe. Having recently made available a limited release of 40 out of 121 apartments (in stage one only), Dusit Thani Sri Lanka have sold an outstanding 80%. The property will be erected in three stages, with the addition of a promenade featuring 15 international restaurants, bars, cafes, a spa, 2500 sqm convention centre, tennis court, multi-faith chapel and gymnasium.
