In a bid to satisfy the diverse housing needs of its broad bevy of customers, premier property developer Prime Group is set to construct 160 houses spread over a scenic 10 acres in the Colombo suburb of Kottawa by 2020.
The project, titled Prime Urban Art, caters to people who crave a comfortable single housing unit with an accompanying garden. The first phase of construction has already commenced, with 80 houses nearing completion, and is scheduled to conclude by December 2020 with a total of 160 houses being built.
During the second phase, Prime Group will begin work on the remaining houses as well as build a swimming pool, gym and courts for volleyball and badminton, a range of amenities within the complex to ensure ease of living and hassle free lifestyle for the residents
All houses will occupy six to eight perches of land which will include a verdant garden, sturdy fence, convenient roller door and firm boundary wall. The houses themselves will either be single-storey units possessing two bedrooms or two-storey units with three bedrooms. Each house is priced within a range of Rs. 9.7-20 million and comes with a one-year maintenance warranty for construction and fittings.
Furthermore, the plot of land used for the project is perfectly positioned within a central location near five junctions entering Kottawa, Homagama, Athurugiriya, Mattegoda and Maharagama.
Additionally, the company has also introduced the concept of shop houses through this project, where customers can operate a business downstairs while residing in the upper section of their house.
“Prime Urban Art is designed for residents who desire the convenience and security of an apartment together with the freedom and peace of a standalone house. Furthermore, its ideal location and capacity to function as a place of business is also encouraging for small and medium-sized enterprises looking for a site from which to operate,” said Prime Group Deputy Chairperson Sandamini Perera.
