The Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI) along with Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services through its Male office, Maldives Exhibition & Conference Services Ltd., are proud to present ‘Buildex Maldives 2019,’ to be held from 22-24 August in Malé, Maldives.

‘Buildex Maldives 2019’ has been setup to cater to the construction boom in the Maldives. Construction, being one of the most important sectors of Maldives, has witnessed unprecedented growth in recent years. Major projects such as the reclamation of inhabited islands, harbours, sewage, water and sanitation projects, construction and refurbishment of island resorts and the housing schemes around the country contribute towards the exponential growth in the Maldivian Construction Industry.

The exhibition’s essence has been selected by keeping in mind one of the most important aspects of any industry, safety, and duly themed as ‘Build Safe, Live Safe’.

Buildex Maldives 2019, aims to provide a platform for B2B and B2C engagement. Companies from Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Italy, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE and New Zealand are set to participate at the exhibition.

MNACI President Mohamed Ali Janah said that the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry is the standard bearer of the second largest industry in the Maldives.

“MNACI is entrusted with the responsibilities of not only ensuring that the industrial, contractual, and technical needs of the members are promoted but also with the equally vital task of promoting the development of the industry to internationally acceptable standards. ‘Buildex Maldives 2019’ is a positive initiative by MNACI to further the relationship between our government, members and stakeholders of our industry and we are very glad to have partnered up with Maldives Exhibition and Conference Services (MECS) to organise this event.”

Industry related seminars on ‘Construction Safety and Health,’ ‘Build Safe Live Safe,’ and ‘Construction Guidelines and Safety Regulations’ will be conducted by the MNACI at the expo. Over 85 companies will be participating at this year’s event.
