The Embassy of Italy in Sri Lanka is inviting architects and developers of Sri Lanka, as well as students and interested parties to meet the world renowned architect, Ludovica Serafini, cofounder of Palomba Serafini Associati.

Architect Serafini’s visit is part of the global initiative‘The Italian Design Day’ (IDD) launched every year by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and brought to Sri Lanka for the first time.
The event is part of an integrated promotion project which showcases the best that Italy has to offer in design and architecture.
Architect Serafini, celebrating over 25 years’ experience designing products and creating statement homes, says: “Architecture is the harmony of details and through architecture we can create processes in product design, because in the balance of details there is everything.”
Her architectural works span from more completely modern constructions to the restoration and renovation of heritage homes with the use of contemporary design features. She is well-known for her sensitivity and capacity to combine tradition with innovation and technology. Architect Serafini has received numerous international awards and recognitions such as, just to name a few: CompassoD’Oro, Elle Decoration International Design Award, Good Design Award and German Design Award.
