Ariyana Resort Apartments wins award for Best Housing Development in Sri Lanka 2018

Further accentuating the Sri Lankan real property sector, the annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Sri Lanka) competition was held for the very first time in Colombo on 12 July. The premier competition held in the island can be defined as a toast to the present blooming Sri Lankan real estate field. 

At the historic gala event held at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo ballroom, Sri Lanka’s first-ever resort apartment complex – Ariyana Resort Apartments by Home Lands Skyline Ltd. was enthroned with the Award for the Best Housing Development (Sri Lanka) 2018.  Furthermore the much admired project was endowed as the Best Housing Architectural Design and highly commended as the Best Green Development as well.

PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Sri Lanka) 2018 is one of the Asia’s highest regional property awards, organised by PropertyGuru Group – Asia’s foremost online property company in order to evaluate and reward the exceptional real estate developers in Sri Lanka under best developer, project and design criteria.  

Conducted with the assured integrity and transparency, under supervision of BDO – the world’s fifth largest auditing and accountancy firm, the competition was adjudged by a panel of judges including Emeritus Prof. Chitra Weddikkara – an internationally-renowned personality in the construction sector who is one of the region’s high rankers in the fields of architecture and quantity surveying and Steven Mayes – Managing Director (Sri Lanka Operations) of Jones Lang LaSalle, a leading professional services provider specialised in real estate and investment management which is also one of the Fortune 500 companies.
