Triumph International Lanka unveiled a revolutionary innovation in shapewear with the launch of its all-new ‘Shape Sensation’ collection last evening at its Majestic City Triumph Store.
The company’s General Manager Shalindra Fernando presented the first set of the ‘Shape Sensation’ series to former Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe Aruni Rajapaksha at the launch, which was attended by the media.
Addressing the gathering, Fernando said: “Triumph is the global leader in lingerie and skinwear. This new segment the company is entering is shapewear. Given the stresses of everyday life, people find it hard to keep in shape. This collection provides a range for the everyday woman, offering a very specific shaping function.”
The collection consists of form-fitting pieces that transform female body contours and includes one bustier and four brief lines. It offers impressive stretch support with a glamorous finish that eliminates unwanted cling and defines a more stunning silhouette.
“The shapewear items available in the market are of very poor quality. Triumph truly accentuates the figure of the everyday woman and offers strong functional support, using lace and other fine material.
The range will appeal to the fashionable and feminine side of customers,” Fernando added, asserting that shapewear would be a core segment for Triumph, along with its other ranges.
Commenting on the company’s outlook for the festive season, Fernando told the Daily FT that business was looking “very bright and cheerful”.
“The last year has been a good one for retail in general. The season should be a record one for many retailers, including us. There is very strong consumer confidence and we are hopeful that it will be a good season for us,” he added.
The company’s new shapewear range is crafted using the latest high-performance fabrics, using seamless sewing technology and moulds body shape by firming, flattening and lifting, essentially highlighting the wearer’s curves in all the right places.
Replacing the heavy, bulky and visually unappealing garments of days gone by, the new range combines silky patterned sheer, transparent lace and shining stretch fabrics, guaranteed to work beautifully under figure-hugging dresses and outfits during the festive season.
