The year 2011 constitutes 125 years of Triumph. This anniversary presents a unique opportunity to embrace Triumph’s heritage, and retrace its incredible journey from its humble beginnings as a small corset manufacturer operating out of a barn in Southern Germany, to its current modern day role as a global leader in intimate wear.
Triumph International began its life in 1886, and after expanding across Europe and Asia, it entered into the Sri Lankan in the year 1994. A privately owned, international company it has created a paradigm shift in the way intimate wear was worn, created and perceived.
As an iconic global leader in alluring lingerie and shapewear, Triumph is proud to be able to draw upon 125 years’ expertise in the design and manufacture of perfect bras and briefs, yet it still constantly strives for innovation in design and manufacturing technique. The unquenchable thirst for progress has earned Triumph a global reputation as the benchmark for quality and perfect fit. Amidst the company of beautiful people, exquisite ambience, scrumptious food and toe tapping music, the employees of Triumph International Lanka Ltd along with their families commemorated this fantastic voyage of success recently at the Eden Resort and Spas in Beruwela. The event took the form of a dinner dance with exciting contests, prizes and gifts galore. The 125th anniversary was celebrated in true Triumph fashion, in the presence of the General Manager of Triumph International Lanka Shalindra Fernando, who applauded all employees for their support and commitment while emphasising on the importance of moving forward for many more successive years.
Triumph tailors female self confidence. Its products praise and encourage the uniqueness of women, bringing out the best in them – whoever they are, wherever they are- every one of them being one of a kind in her own special way.
