Tribute to Sri Lanka’s 1 m apparel workers at SLDF

The third annual Sri Lanka Design Festival is to pay tribute to the one million employees of the apparel industry with a special viewing of the Sri Lanka Apparel fashion show. The festival aims to highlight the importance of these apparel employees from the machine operator to the decision makers as they are the driving force behind Sri Lanka’s largest export revenue generating trade.

The fashion show features international collections of lingerie, swimwear, performance sports and formal wear designed by MAS, Brandix, Hirdaramani, Penguin, Orient, Timex, Union and Hayleys along with some specific design – industry special collaborations from Textured Jersey and Coats.
