Starry season at Ceylon Continental

The Ceylon Continental Hotel will sparkle this holiday season with its much loved ‘Starry Night’ festive season during the month of December.

The hotel has festive Sunday brunches lined up for 4, 11 and 18 December priced at Rs. 1600 with the extraordinary Christmas brunch, “Brunch Universal” held on Sunday 25 December priced at Rs. 1950.

Following this, we have a special Boxing Day Lunch on 26 December priced at Rs. 1650.

Continental will also partake in Christmas dinner consisting of a six-course gourmet menu, including international and traditional season favourites from roast turkey to pickled ham and the most scrumptious Christmas pudding at the Emerald Restaurant from 7p.m. to 10p.m. and will be priced at Rs. 2200. All our festive brunches will be at the Emerald Restaurant from 11.30a.m. to 2.30p.m. and prices exclude both service charge and government taxes. Children below six years will be able to dine for free, while children between ages six and 12 will be charged 50% of the rate. Usage to the swimming pool will be on offer for all the buffet guests.

During the festive season, kids will be treated to a variety of activities from greeting card making to cookie decorating and even surprise opportunities to receive presents from the hotel Santa Claus, with surprise visits from Barney and Dora the Explorer. The hotel’s well trained babysitters will also be on duty to keep the kids occupied and safe.

Cafe Conti will be transformed into a magical gingerbread house which will serve all one’s Christmas cravings during the entire month of December all the way from 6.30a.m. to 11p.m.

The Continental will also serve “Turkey to Go,” a specialty this season, from 24 November to 31 December at Rs. 1550 per kilo. There is the great option of having it being delivered straight to your doorstep making it ideal for those celebrating the festive season at home.  Continental Hampers will be up for grabs for those who want to make this season extra special. Apart from the artfully designed packaging, not only can you customize your hamper, but you can also have your company branding or personal signature on it.

The “Singing treats” will carol from 15 to 24 December between 6-7p.m. in the hotel lobby, providing you with both the traditional and contemporary Christmas carols whilst you indulge in delicious seasonal treats.

As the CSR project for this season, Ceylon Continental’s poolside will be turned into Santa’s workshop on 6 December for a group of less privileged children. We invite you to help make their day extra special by keeping gifts for these children under the Christmas tree in the lobby.       

With a Christmas from around the world, Ceylon Continental will stopover in New York’s Times Square for a very unique New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance inclusive of Limousines, red carpets and a spectacular firework show.

The line-up of entertainment includes local band Doctor and DJ Shiran and two very exciting ticket packages varying up to Rs. 7093 +++ per person with varying attractive beverage deals. Kids care along with kid’s entertainment will also be provided.
