Sampath Bank recognises young inventor

K.P.D.A.C. Kapuge, a grade 13 student of Mihintale Maha Vidyalaya won the first prize at the World New Inventors’ Competition held in Phoenix, Arizona in the US, for turning out a bund cutter to clean up paddy fields.

In keeping with its commitment to social corporate responsibility educational activities, Sampath Bank came forward to assist young Kapuge by offering financial assistance. The Minister of Technology, Research and Atomic Energy Patali Champika Ranawaka was present at the presentation made at the Ministry office by Sampath Bank Human Resources DGM Anura Jayasekera.
