Macktiles Lanka stamps quality with SLS and ISO 9001:2008 certification

Macktiles Lanka Ltd., a 100% local manufacturer of a wide range of commercial and household floor tiles, was awarded the International ISO and SLS Standards by SGS Lanka Ltd. and the Sri Lanka Standards Institution, respectively. These prestigious certifications were received by Macktiles Chairman Milfer Makeen and Macktiles Managing Director Mizver Makeen at the Macktiles Dealer Convention that took place among top dealers and distinguished invitees recently at Hilton, Colombo. 

The awarding ceremony was witnessed by the Macktiles distribution team who were rewarded with recognition trophies, an overnight stay at Hilton, Colombo and surprise gifts such as phone dongles, tabs and air tickets to Bangkok and Chennai for their contribution to Macktiles’ unprecedented growth within a very short period of time.

The award of SLS Standards certifies the high quality products produced by the home grown company which conforms to the high standards and parameters of the Sri Lanka standards awarding body. Similarly, the ISO certification recognises Macktiles for its high quality management process undertaken in order to offer customers a wide array of products that serve as a platform of assurance of high standard quality products, and most importantly customer satisfaction.
