Lankem Robbialac celebrates World Environment Day this month with an exciting photographic competition celebrating the colours of nature.
‘Nature Photography Challenge’, as it is called, invites photographs from all Sri Lankans to be uploaded onto the Robbialac Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/LankemRobbialacSL) on or before Tuesday 30 June.
Each participant can submit a total of five photographs only. All photographs should be related to nature and celebrate the colours of nature. The top three lucky winners will be selected by an eminent panel of judges from the National Association of Photographers of Sri Lanka. They will receive certificates and valuable gift vouchers to purchase Robbialac paint.
Participants are advised that images submitted should not be manipulated using software. They should be able to submit the original camera file if required. Photographs submitted should also not bear the names and other details of the participants.
The complete responsibility of the copyrights of the photographs submitted, are with those uploading them. Lankem will not hold itself responsible for any matters pertaining to copyrights.
Lankem Ceylon PLC Director Ruwan T. Weerasinghe said, “A predominant part of our business is working with the palette of colours Mother Nature has gifted to humankind. With World Environment Day being celebrated this month we decided to celebrate the colours of nature and give due pride of place to the environment. With this competition we also focus on the importance of preserving and protecting the environment for future generations. This we consider our responsibility. The response to this nationwide competition is very encouraging and we’ve received a large number of entries already.”
