The company IFE Elevators Lanka Ltd. and its latest innovation Metis 6 were successfully launched on 18 March at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. There were around 200 guests from various organisations including IFE Elevators Co. Ltd., China, Chinese business entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan business partners at the event.
The keynote address was delivered by IFE Elevators Co. Ltd. China General Manager Luo Ai Ming. He emphasised that IFE Elevators is always focused and striving for the global market. “IFE has given an important place to Sri Lanka in its strategic plan since we believe there is a brilliant and glorious future for this blessed land.”
Luo added he wanted to establish an IFE branch in Sri Lanka to give a leading and world-class riding experience to Sri Lanka nationals, and he hopes the company will get best support and recognition from Sri Lankan clients.
IFE International Market Department Executive Manager Jason Bai provided a detailed introduction of IFE headquarters and its global market situation. He mentioned that the IFE was already the No. 1 Chinese-made elevators exporter for four consecutive years and this is the best recognition for IFE quality and services.
IFE Elevators Lanka Ltd. Director Linda Yang introduced the IFE branch in Sri Lanka. “IFE brand elevators entered into the Sri Lanka market in 2013 and now more than 100 units of elevators are moving and serving smoothly all over the island. IFE undertook projects including 48 units of elevators at General Sir John Kotalawala Defence University, OZO Colombo Hotel, Ben Consortium, Jetwing and many other projects in residential, commercial, governmental, medical, public transportation buildings.”
She emphasised: “IFE set up its own branch in Sri Lanka for better sales and after sales service for local clients. The IFE is going to be the best Chinese elevator and escalator brand in Sri Lankan market and we are trying to become the first choice for elevators in Sri Lanka.”
During the ceremony, IFE also released its latest product Metis 6 which apply for 2,500 super luxury cabin height, optimised the whole structure which gives more space, decreased the vibration while operating, and realised the no-noise speeding by non-contact magnetic induction. All these new features will help to increase the safe operation, riding comfortability and smoothness. In present elevator market, IFE elevators is the only brand that maximises the safety features.
IFE Elevators Co. Ltd. China was established in 1998 and the company has been approved by Ministry of Construction of P. R. C, which is specialised in design, manufacture, installation and maintenance and repair elevators and escalators. Currently IFE has covered all range of elevator and escalator; including passenger elevator, passenger escalator/conveyor, panoramic elevator, hospital elevator, car elevator, freight elevator, machine room-less elevator and various escalator and moving walks.
Through continuous effort, now the IFE has become the No. 1 Chinese made elevator exporter for four consecutive years. The IFE is also the largest elevator supplier to Singapore, and it has so far exported 5,000 units for the Singapore HDB project alone. IFE is present in 24 countries including Australia, UAE, Malaysia, Brazil and South Africa.
