The Galadari Hotel has on many occasions made its fair contribution towards adapting to the Greener concept in most of its activities. With the entire world coming together to celebrate Earth Hour on the 23 March 2013, the hotel too has set the wheels in motion to ensure that it too joins this eco-friendly drive in the best manner possible.
With this in mind the hotel will observe an hour of a partial electricity shutdown in the Hotel’s Lobby area and other selected areas from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on 23 March 2013. This, whilst being an ideal solution to energy conservation, is also done with the intention of creating awareness amongst guests and the public in general of the importance of becoming environmentally friendly. The hotel’s Lobby will come alive with beautifully decorated floating candles and oil lamps, etc. Guests too will be able to participate in this go-green initiative by being a part of the candle and lamp lighting process. Also a special eco-friendly welcome drink will be given to all those participating in the hotel’s Earth Hour celebrations. Hoping to create an awareness of energy conservation and using the Earth Hour concept as a reminder to touch base with becoming more eco-friendly the hotel hopes to use this opportunity as a stepping stone to play a larger role with regards to becoming a greener entity in the near future. Come therefore and be a part of the go-green initiatives and make your own contribution towards this very important cause.
