The symposium will also be held on three days starting 12 August. The first day will be dedicated to school children. Highlights for day one include registration of the School Energy Conservation Clubs and awarding certificates to winners of the pre-held art competition on ‘How to Survive in an Oil-Less World’. Day two, which would see the presentation of research papers on energy management, has been titled ‘Energy Conscious Nation,’ while day three will be titled ‘Greener Sri Lanka’. Three selected best research papers will be awarded cash prices and published by the SLSEA.
