The Heist at the Ceylon Continental Hotel continues to expand on its popular pub lunch menu this month. Inspired by the success of its previous promotions with wraps and burgers, the Heist has introduced a range of exotic rice-based meals to its expanding lunchtime menu.
The menu will be available during lunch hour from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Heist at an all-inclusive price of Rs. 399. Moving away from the traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry, ‘Rice to the Occasion’ features popular rice – based international cuisine from Indonesia, Spain, Thailand, and the USA and includes nasi goreng, seafood paella, Thai egg fried rice and Creole jambalaya.
This is in addition to burgers and wraps previously introduced and still available at the Heist on their pub lunch menu, creating a more diverse dining experience for its customers.
“Since its re-launch in 2010, the Heist has become a popular watering hole for local and foreign patrons and is increasingly frequented by executives for a quick yet satisfying lunch. Guests choosing to ‘Rice to the occasion’, during the Heist’s promotion of the month, can enjoy a 50% discount on all soft drinks to accompany their lunch during the happy hour from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.,” Head of Ceylon Continental, Kamal Munasinghe stated.
